New Article Series - Top Stocks To Invest In

How It All Began

While I'm 19 now, I've been fascinated by the stock market's money-making potential from the age of 13. I still remember how I used to pore through all those stock sheets in Economic Times and read long analysis articles on MoneyControl. I have lost count of the number of Business Today magazines I read between the ages of 14-19.

The Why

In keeping with the philosophy of one of my favourite blogs, UsingMyStuff.com, I'm now putting all of that knowledge to use. Besides, I somehow stopped answering Personal Finance questions on Quora (don't know whether it was the kind of questions or just a general decline in my interest).
Helping and sharing and two of my core values, and I have always endeavoured to help people make good choices in their finances. On Quora, it was mainly "Choosing Mutual Funds" and "Lump-Sum Investment Options". Now that I have graduated from Mutual Funds (or so I think), I am reinvesting the money received from my Freelance Editing & Proofreading to plan for my future.

The Plan

Though I still use a combination of Equity and Debt Mutual Funds for my various life goals, I'm getting started with finally putting some money directly into the stock market. Therefore, I unveil this new monthly article series, consisting of stock recommendations that I will give due justification for.

Investing Philosophy

I am a staunch optimist by nature, and a great believer in the fundamental strength and growth potential of the Indian Republic. I currently follow a combination of Scuttlebutt Investing, Value Investing and Momentum Investing. Always open to learning new and upcoming philosophies and strategies.

Influences

  • Vishal Khandelwal of SafalNiveshak
  • Mohnish Pabrai, author of The Dhandho Investor

That's all for now, folks. Keep an eye out for the "Best Stocks To Invest In - July 2018 Edition" coming out on the 15th of this month.
